The
Hendrick Family proudly celebrates nearly 60 years of providing
quality housing and excellent food service for the University
of Illinois students, ensuring the students receive the personal
care and attention they deserve in their busy college lives.
Robert and Mary Lee Hendrick started with a small house for
17 students in l948. With the eventual involvement of their
children, now the owners, they expanded the facilities to the
current Hendrick House with a total capacity of 360 students
in two modern, connected buildings just one block from the
original site.
The Hendrick Family is pleased to provide a warm atmosphere
with individual attention that encourages our former residents
to visit and to recommend Hendrick House to their family and
friends. Hendrick House has become a second-generation
