Our Food

Hendrick House is well-known around campus and the C-U area for good food and great customer service. We’ve been feeding UIUC students for well over 75 years and have been catering to the community for over 30 years. We strive to be creative with new and exciting food and menu ideas to make sure that our customers have a variety of options to choose from. We think food is an adventure and that is a critical component in making our customers feel happy and satisfied. Testimonials

Staff is wonderful and friendly and they take great care of you. Rooms are large, everything is clean, food of course is fantastic. Location is great-quiet, safe, clean, and close to classes even if you’re not an engineering major. (I had most of my classes on the Quad and it would take a max of 10min.) Also a hop skip and a jump from Krannert Center, which is a place you should definitely frequent during your college years for many reasons!

Overall, I highly recommend it for freshmen and upperclassmen alike, especially if you want a quieter neighborhood. Thanks for a great final year, HH!

Great location, short walk from Engineering Quad and Illini Union. Great food (most of the time), this is a well-known fact. Most of the time it’s nice and quiet, which is very conducive to studying. Staff are very friendly and helpful, cleaning service is a nice luxury, and rooms are bigger and more comfortable compared to most University housing rooms. If you have classes in the Engineering Quad, like great food, and want a quiet and comfortable living environment basically devoid of noisy partying, then this is definitely the place for you.
